Stephen Ndungu
Founder & Director
Stephen Ndungu is the founder and driving force behind Mt. Kenya Talents Development Centre. A world marathon runner and renowned pacemaker known as the 'King Maker', Stephen started the club in July 1998 after young runners from underprivileged backgrounds approached him for help.
His vision has guided MKTDC from a small training group to an internationally recognized NGO that has produced Olympic champions and world-class athletes.
John Ngugi
Olympic Champion & Goodwill Ambassador
John Ngugi is an Olympic Champion and serves as MKTDC's Goodwill Ambassador. His legendary career and dedication to developing young talent make him an invaluable part of the MKTDC family.
I remember when I was in primary school, people told me I couldn't run. There are always people saying you can't do it, and those people have to be ignored.
